okay, new to this forum.
basically i been on swiftel since 2004.
we have had the same internet connection for the duration
it is supplied by the company my dad works for.
all i know is it is adsl broadband, and we use a netgear wireless router inside the house,
i have speed tested the connection before and i get ~ 400kbps which means i can download at a rate of around 60kbps.
basically what i want to know is or atleast have a fair idea of how much my download limit is per month if there is one, as i have never been informed or anything
does anyone have any ideas?
cheers

Impossible to say really. It depends how old you plan is. If I was to guess, and really a guess is all I can make, I'd suggest you would be on at least a 10gb monthly quota. This is the minimum 512k plans have had for quite some time.

This one is a little tricky, as you mention the account is not 'owned' by you (or your father) which means that by law, we are not allowed to disclose details of the account to you, and that we can only discuss it with the account owner.
It's possible it is a corporate account too, given the way it is paid for.
Not helpful to the current question I know!

There are so many plans, a best guess is difficult, but darren_cp is probably not far off.

The best hint I can give you is, it looks like you are shaped now.. Your quota is less then how much you have downloaded so far this month.
(i'm guessing that is what you were really trying to ask.. knowing you are shaped, and re-reading your post, the sentance about downloading at 400kbps and downloading at 60kbps makes more sense)
