Download limit exceeded but not told

Signed up for the 1.5 mbs and home phone deal. Have been with pt for many yrs. Anyway. 64kbs comes in the weekend. No email that I am nearing my limit or anything. Still have 20 something days until next billing.

Question is how much is more download for the rest of the month? Why no email, txt or call to tell me I am nearing my limit. Can I go down a plan to a slower speed but with more data?
Obviously I got a bit carried away having faster than previous connection speed.

Hi Swazzer,

To keep tabs on your usage, you should log into the PeopleNet web site.
This is also where you can change passwords, topup (add extra) download quota etc.

You log in from the interface at the top of http://www.peopletelecom.com.au

There are no additional notifications when you are nearing / exceeded your quota.

If you are on one of the newer 1500/256 plans with peak/off peak usage you can purchase additional data usage to uncap it.

The shaping will come off automatically at the start of the following month.

Hi, is there someway to get an email at a set gb, last month was the first time i hit the download limit(sux being home sick for 3 weeks).
It would be good to be able to get an email when i get to say 8gb, that way i would know to monitor my ongoing useage for the month.

At present this feature doesn't exist for ADSL services.
The alerts that we presently have are for mobiles.
